How Do I Know The Best Image Size For My ClickDesigns Template?

In this article, you'll learn how to discover the best image size for a specific ClickDesigns template or design.

STEP 1:

After you've logged into your ClickDesigns account and are on your dashboard, we're going to need to launch the ClickDesigns Editor. To do this, click on "Templates" if you want to start from scratch or utilize a pre-made design. You can also click on "My Designs" if you already have an existing graphic.

In this case, let's try working on a pre-made design. Click on "Templates" and feel free to choose from any of the diverse categories that ClickDesigns has to offer.

When you come across a template you want to work with, simply hover over it and click on the "Edit" icon.

STEP 2:

For this tutorial, we're going to use a report cover. Before this opens up the ClickDesigns Editor - you have the option to either Edit, Upload, choose from your Image Library, or Export Flat with the design.

With this, click on "Upload." Here, you can upload your desired image to your template.

If your desired image doesn't exactly fit the template, a pop-up will allow you to align the image to your liking in accordance with the template's dimensions.

When finished adjusting, click on "Crop."

STEP 3:

This is going to effectively crop and position your image in accordance with your chosen template.

Now, if you'd like to utilize an image with the exact dimensions of your template - have no fear! The dimensions of your template can be viewed right above your design.

As seen here, the dimensions of this report template are 848x1264. Therefore, any and all images you wish to fill in for this template will better fit said design if they match the given dimensions. When satisfied with your design, don't forget to click on "Save."

And Voila! That's how easy it is to find out the best image size for your ClickDesigns template.
