How To Get Started With Backgrounds

In this article, you'll learn the easy step-by-step process of editing backgrounds on ClickDesigns.

STEP 1:

When editing the backgrounds of your designs — you can begin by launching the ClickDesigns Editor. You can do this by either selecting an already-made design in the "My Designs" section or an already-made template in the "Templates" section. When you find a template you want to work with, simply hover over it and click on the "Edit" icon.

STEP 2:

Now, let's begin by customizing this template's background to our liking. Here, we have two options — we can either change the background to a new image entirely, or we can alter it to a solid color, or maybe even a gradient. To begin, let's start by playing with the first option. First, go to the "Image" tab.

Here, you have the option to either Upload an image, choose from the image Library, utilize the image Search bar, and browse from the image Cut Outs.

For this tutorial, let's try to search for an image to use as our background. If there's a photo you'd like to use, simply click on said photo for it to upload to your canvas.

This is how easy it is to utilize any image straight from ClickDesigns to use as your background. You can edit this as much or as little as you'd like!

STEP 3:

Now, let's try another way to edit the background of our designs. We can edit the background by coloring it a solid color — or even a gradient. To do this, simply click on the "Background" tab.

This gives you the option to fill in the background of any of your designs with either a solid color or a gradient.

You can either choose from this pre-made color palette, or you can choose from the color wheel if you have a more specific shade in mind.

To make a gradient background, simply click on the "Gradient" tab.

Ticking the "On/Off Gradient" option allows you to choose from a Linear Gradient or a Radial Gradient.

You have already-made gradient options to choose from also — all while being able to adjust the angle of said gradient.

You also have the option to adjust each color using a color wheel to find a specific shade or tone.

STEP 4:

You can also pair a solid color or gradient with an image! Be as creative as you wish with your designs — in this case, let's pair this gradient with an image Cut Out.

Again, simply type in the search bar a Cut Out you'd like for your design, and click on one for it to be uploaded onto your canvas.

Once you are safisfied with your designs, don't forget to click on "Save & Exit."

And Voila! That's how easy it is to seamlessly edit backgrounds with ClickDesigns.
